Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

KAPi diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts aim to serve both our internal and external community through a variety of events during rush and throughout the semester. As an organization, we aim to introspect about DEI in our own lives through biweekly book clubs and roundtables on topics such as the role of language in gender and sexuality-based violence. Furthermore, through cross-collaboration with our Service and Fundraising chairs, we explore ways to advocate for DEI on a greater scale. Though a continuous work-in-progress approach, KAPi’s DEI efforts hope to create comfortable spaces for existing and prospective members to engage with topics about their own and others’ identities.
